Storied is run by Saw Tech Solutions, LLC. Your family's history is personal, and we treat it that way.

What we keep

Your email address, the family trees you create or join, and what you and your relatives add to them: names, dates, places, stories, photos and recordings.

Who can see your tree

Only people you invite. Each tree is private to its members. View-only members don't see birth dates, places, notes or photos of living relatives. We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your tree with other companies or other users.

Record searches

When you ask Storied to search records for someone, we send that person's name, dates, places and the names of their deceased relatives to our AI provider (Anthropic) to run the search. We only search for relatives who have passed away. Search requests are not used to train AI models.

Services we use

Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (record searches). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Your choices

You can download your whole tree any time as a GEDCOM file, remove people or photos, leave a tree, or ask us to delete your account and everything you've added by contacting Saw Tech Solutions, LLC.
